Ljubljana-Belgrade Route to Be Re-established in December

Belgrade, Nov. 5

Officials from the Slovenian and Yugoslav flag carriers, Adria Airways and JAT, reached a deal to establish an air route between both capitals. The air link will open the first week of December, with flights connecting Ljubljana and Belgrade three times a week. Both airlines are to code share the route, while JAT will operate flights under both trademarks. The arrangement is to last until the end of March when representatives of both airlines are to meet again to discuss further co-operation. From then onwards, flights will be operated by both carriers. Adria and JAT officials had been negotiating Ljubljana-Belgrade route for well over a year.
